A man accused of stealing nude images from Carly Rae Jepsen's computer has been arrested. Canadian hacker Christopher David Long has been charged with fraudulently obtaining telecommunications services, unauthorised use of a computer, mischief in relation to data, identity fraud and possession of stolen property. According to TMZ, the 25-year-old turned himself in to the police in Vancouver last Friday, after trying to sell the photos.
Long has since been released from custody, although he is due back in court on 4 January 2013. Jepsen - who contacted police about the stolen photos in March 2012 - was also forced to deny that she featured in a string of other naked photos, as well as sex tape that had emerged, starring lookalikes of the Call Me Maybe hitmaker.
