More police are being sent to Airdrie following the murder of a local dad.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the busy residential area in North Lanarkshire, but Mr More died at the scene.
Detectives have launched a murder inquiry - where they will carry out door-to-door enquiries in and around Airdrie.
Superintendent Louise Skelton said: “We are aware the local community will be shocked by this incident as it took place in a busy residential area early in the evening.
"This is being treated as a targeted attack, and we have taken immediate steps by increasing police patrols in the area to provide public reassurance.
"Anyone with concerns should speak to officers."
Detective Superintendent Jim Smith added: “Extensive police enquiries are continuing today in Gartness Drive and at this time I would urge any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.
"Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact Airdrie Police Office via 101 quoting reference number 3626 of 6September 2018.

Detectives said they are treating the shooting as a targeted attack.
They are keen to trace a small white car that was seen in the street around the time of the shooting and left the area shortly afterwards.
A car matching the description was discovered burnt out near Craigmaddie Road in the North of Glasgow.
