Victoria Beckham's sartorial evolution has been one of the most dramatic and intruiging of our generation.
From her role as Posh Spice in the iconic all-girl pop group the Spice Girls - via a solo career (and many, many wonderful hairstyles along the way) - to finally achieving her goal to be a businesswoman and fashion designer, VB has managed to gain the respect and admiration of the famously hard-to-please fashion industry - oh, and an OBE for her contribution to the fashion industry over the past 17 years.
But while we may so far have only ever seen VB from the age of about 12 onwards - when she signed for a child modelling agency - to celebrate her birthday whilst in lockdown earlier this year the fashion queen shared the most adorable series of baby photos of herself to her Instagram account.
A montage which appropriately played out to the tune of the Spice Girls' hit 'Who Do You Think You Are', the post confirmed - to any doubters - that she's always had an innate sense of style.
A plastic red mac with matching hat and boots? That's our girl. And don't get us started on that gorgeous cropped blouse with puffed sleeves... #need.
But this week VB may well have worn one of her chicest looks yet, and - unexpectedly - it seems she took inspiration from a very everyday object.
While everyone from models on the autumn/winter 2021 catwalks to Meghan Markle have been championing the season's obsession with ‘solo saturation’ (i.e. one bold colour worn from head-to-toe), Victoria is following her own path by clashing primary colours.
Not satisfied with two, however, she went for the full red-amber-green trio, thus rendering the traffic light this season's hottest new colour trend.
See? Obsessed.
