Those with a penchant for gold should make their way to Dubai for a glimpse of the world's largest ring. The Najmat Taiba or Star of Taiba is estimated to cost $3 million, is on display at the Deira Gold Souk, according to The Times of India.
The 21-carat ring weighs almost 64 kilograms (141 pounds), and is studded with 5.1 kilograms (11 pounds) of precious stones.

Log in.It took 55 workers 45 days to finish the ring which also has 615 Swarovski stones according to Emirates.com. The ring has a certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records and was endorsed by the World Gold Council.
The Najmat Taiba cost its owner only $547,000 to make back in 2000, when gold priced at about $250 an ounce. Gold prices are trading high at about $1,497.50 on the market today.
The ring is owned by Dubai-based company Taiba and has been put on display by Kanz Jewellers that hoped to promote gold jewelery sales.
